The Joy of Telstra

I had such a lovely vision of our first blog on our trip, a photo of Ross, Bonnie and I sitting outside our beautiful caravan in lovely sunshine with a delicious cup of coffee and feasting on gingerbread men, baked by our beautiful niece Georgia.  We woke, on our first day in the van in pouring rain with Ross not being able to access his Telstra broadband account as he had not used it since our last trip away.  A trip to the local retravision store with no success, sent on to the Post Office, they open Saturday mornings in Orbost, but still no joy, and so then a trip to Bairnsdale.  Ross was able to purchase the right sim card, but Telstra's computers were down so he still was not able to get connected!  Finally, after much muttering Ross was able to connect late this afternoon!  So maybe, we will get to enjoy that coffee and gingerbread man when we head to Canberra tomorrow!  The photo of the gingerbread men has one looking quite frazzled - this is how Ross has been feeling today!

At least our baby has settled, she is happily snoring away curled up on Ross' mock mink blanket!
