Our trip to Queensland

We have just arrived home from warm sunny Queensland, beautiful family time, beautiful sunny weather, what a perfect week we had! Ross' mother is still going strong, awake for a few hours and then in deep hibernation for the rest of the time.  A fabulous visit saw her up and about with some recognition and conversation, pleasant time sitting in the garden of Buderim Views.

Special time with our beautiful babies, Paige is a lovely girl, full of life and joy, an absolute credit to Natalie and Ben's parenting!  Sienna is a such a character, full of determination and wanting to follow in Paige's footsteps!

The main reason for our visit was the wedding of Melissa and Brendan, Ross' niece.  A weekend celebration in Brisbane, the ceremony at St Joseph's, Brendan's school and then a delicious dinner at a restaurant in Ascot.  Melissa looked beautiful in a very elegant dress, her smile was just gorgeous!

The wedding cake was truly amazing, tiers of delicious cheese, decorated with roses.  The traditional cutting of the cake was enjoyed, and then the cutting of the cake resulted in spectacular cheese platters!

The publishing of this blog is also in preparation for the big overseas trip!  Today we went to Phoebe's for a Moroccan Information session.  A very interesting power point presentation of what to expect in Morocco covered all of our questions and it was great to meet our fellow travellers and wedding party goers!
